Prepare the Rooibos Tea Infusion:
• Place 1 Rooibos My T CBD bag in a heatproof cup.
• Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water over the T bag.
• Allow the T to steep for about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the infusion cool to room temperature.
Prepare the Fruits & Veg:
• Peel and pit the ripe avocado.
• Peel Banana
• Rinse Spinach
Blend the Ingredients:
• Add the avocado, banana, spinach, brewed CBD Rooibos T (without the T bag) and almond milk to a blender.
Add protein and sweeten (optional):
Add the protein powder (optional), flax seed, honey (optional) and ground cinnamon.
Add Ice (Optional)
• If you like your smoothie colder, you can add a few ice cubes to the blender before blending.
Blend Until Smooth:
• Blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender as needed to ensure everything is well combined.
Taste and Adjust:
• Taste the smoothie and adjust the flavour and consistency as needed. You can add more Honey or maple syrup for sweetness, or lemon juice for extra zing.
Serve and Enjoy:
• Pour the smoothie into a glass, garnish with a lemon slice or a few blueberries, and enjoy immediately.
